My Story
A nurse, a coach,
a mom of four
I spent over 12 years as a Registered Nurse — in the Emergency Department, Community Health, and Nursing Education. I loved it. There is nothing quite like the feeling of genuinely helping someone in a moment of crisis.
Yet in all my years in the allopathic medicine setting, I often saw the same pattern. Either those who followed the recommendations of medications and interventions and still didn't feel great, or those who would have their labs come back as “normal” and feel far from it. Conventional medicine is extraordinary at crisis care — but it wasn't built to answer the question “what's keeping this person from thriving?”
That gap led me to become a certified Integrative Health Practitioner in 2021, trained across seven disciplines — functional lab testing, gut and hormone health, nutritional science, sleep, and stress physiology. For the first time I had frameworks to answer the “why.” My nursing background made it different: I bring clinical discernment alongside integrative tools, so you get both depth and safety.
Then I noticed something else. Even when we found the root-cause answer, some people still struggled to fully heal. In 2021, I became a certified Covenant Life Coach — while pregnant with my third child — and discovered the missing piece: the deeply-held beliefs and identity patterns that shape how we feel every single day. The body and the mind are not separate. Treating them together is where lasting transformation lives.
As a wife and mom of four, I'm not speaking from a clinical distance. I have lived the exhaustion and the overwhelm. I've been the person told “everything looks normal” who still couldn't get out of bed. And I've done the work to reach the other side — using the same tools I bring to every client.
This is personal. Your health matters — and so does every ordinary day you spend in it.
