  • “This class and the resource book is an excellent resource for a one stop shop on knowing how to approach your sick child at home”

    Class participant

  • “Class was a huge value to me. The outline of information about what to tell nurses/doctors when talking to them was extremely helpful, and the points on what to watch for in an illness was a good resource so I don’t second guess myself. Tamara’s homeopathic information was extremely helpful giving me more tools rather than always reaching for traditional over the counter meds”

A note before you join us

This class and its take-home booklet are educational resources only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and attending does not create a nurse–patient or provider–patient relationship. The goal is simply to help you feel prepared with knowledge of how to support a sick child at home.

You know your child best. Any questions or concerns about your child's health should be directed to the health care provider who knows you and your child, and nothing here is a reason to delay care or to start, stop, or change any treatment. If your child is seriously ill or you think it's an emergency, call your provider or 911, or go to the nearest emergency department.
